2004 Season

What the hell just happened? In what will be remembered as one of the most bizarre seasons ever, The Wang Bangers go undefeated! The first time ever a team has done so. The Busch Whackers were able to tarnish the Bangers perfect season with a tie, however the Bangers can wave the undefeated flag none the less.
2004 Season Highlights:
- Da Kamehameha Wang Bangers go undefeated (15-0-1) with only a tie to stop them from a perfect season. They go all the way to win the GOBFFL tankard.
- Both The Blunt's Donovan McNabb and the Creekers Peyton Manning had 55 point weeks in the QB slot. Which are also GOBFFL records! Peyton Manning seemed unstoppable at times breaking Marino's TD record. But it was The Super Charger's Daunte Culpepper who had the yearly high at QB with 494 points!
- The Woodchuck's Priest Holmes had a 42 Point week high at the RB spot. But in what again was part of the Banger's freakish season, Tiki Barber was the RB high score on the year with 309 points.
- Again at TE, Antonia Gates had an amazing 175 point year for the Bangers. Outdoing Gonzo by 2 points.
- In what may be the most bizarre FF week ever, the Bangers and their Voodoo win in an erie WTF week, when Drew Bennett scored a WR season high 47 points! That's right "Drew 'Who the fuck is Drew Bennett' Bennett" scored 47 points.
It was the first week of the Playoffs and The Bangers luck had finally ran out, or so we thought. The Fighting Irish had beaten the Bangers, it was 91 - 59, the Bangers were down by 32 points and the Irish still had all star TE Tony Gonzalez on Monday night. The Bangers only had some sub-par reciever named Drew Bennett, again, it was over. Unknown to the rest of the Leage that Friday head coach Johnny Utah had forseen his doom and caught a flight to Hawaii to do the unthinkable. It was this blatant intervention by the Fantasy Gods that spelled doom for the rest of the league in 2004. After this freak week and bizarre performance the rest of the league knew the Bangers were untouchable. Cries of the sacrificed farm animals that Banger coach Johnny Utah bled on the Hawaiian Island that Monday night can still be heard, haunting throughout GOBFFL history.
2003 Season
DRAFT | END ROSTERS | SEASON | WEEKLY RESULTS | PLAYOFFS
After a dismal 2002, the Super Chargers came back to be the first to officially be dubbed The Keeper of the Tankard.
2003 Season Highlights:
- The two largest star studded teams came down to battle in the GOBFFL Championship, The Rum Division Champs, Peagram Beavers, lost to the Whiskey Division champs, Super Chargers, for the GOBFFL Tankard.
- 2003 was the first year the long TD bonus points were implemented.
- The Peagram Beavers set the Highest Single game score of 160 Points in a regular season game, they also set a playoff record of 163, a game in which they failed to start the right QB in Jeff Garcia which would have made it 199 point game.
- The French Tickler's QB Peyton Manning had arguably the QB Season posting a 17 Week High Point total of 360 Point. He also set the weekly high, scoring 49 points in a single game.
- The Ribbed Trojans once again found a gem in Priest Holmes has he had 368 points on the year. Which turned out to be the most by any player, not only RB. If not hurt later in the year Holmes would surely have broken 400. The Beavers Clinton Portis had not only the Highest score for an RB in 64 points, but it was the highest weekly total for any player in GOBFFL History.
- The Beavers 3rd Round pick Randy Moss had the best 2003 at WR scoring 285 Points. Da Kamehameha Wang Banger's Joe Horn had the highest total at WR for a single week with 41 points!
- The Beavers again got a great pick in Tony Gonzalez who posted the best Tight End Numbers with 146 points. But it was the Anheuser Busch Whacker's Shannon Sharpe that had the best week at TE with 30 points.
- The Super Chargers had the best overall D on the year with the Super Bowl Champion Patriots. They also had a weekly high of 29 points!

Season
Rookies into the league, they came in with the 1st
pick of the draft... the rest was easy. We all got Faulked! The
Ribbed Trojans took the legs of their first pick Marshall Faulk,
combined it with great picks in some veteran players which included
Jimmy Smith, Jerry Rice, and the great arm of Rich Gannon. Great
drafting done, in what was a season of slaughtering for the rest
of the league.
