The Lottery is complete! Jake Orton's new team, Damage Inc., went away with the first pick of the draft! The draft date has been moved to Sunday September 4th. It will be a breakfast draft! The draft will start at 9:30 AM so please show up at 9:00 AM to get some grub. Bloody Mary's should be flowing to take care of any late night pre-draft party hang overs. I will also be going over some rule changes that will hopefully do away with a lot of the "mis-haps" we had last year.
Draft Rules - This year we will be using an online draft system. If you do not have a laptop to bring to the draft I should still be able to accommodate you with a PC. This method should make the draft run a lot smoother and quicker. Do not come unprepared to the draft! Check your injury reports people!

Funds - I'll be collecting everyone's money at the draft. $50.00 per team. Make sure you bring your $$$. The software will lock your team's roster and not let you draft if you owe over 10 dollars in funds.

Interesting Stats!
Here is a list of the past 4 years lottery results. This report will show you the average draft pick you have had over the past 4 years. Looks like the Super Chargers have been picking late the last 4 years, while the Fighting Irish have nailed the 2nd pick this year, 2nd pick last year, and the 1st pick 2 years ago.

Rule Changes for 2005:
- Claim system and Waiver Wire will be automated. There will still be a claim override for starters with injuries.
- TRADES! Trades will be done automatically, the commish will no longer be involved. A trade must sit for 48 hours. The Fanball site will list this trade. Owners will have 48 hours to veto this trade. 5 teams must veto the trade for it to become NULL.
- Roster refinements: You can only have 2 QB, TE, K, and DEF on your roster. You could have a 3rd of one of those positions but you would need to utitlize your IR spot. This should definitely make it more challenging when deciding whcih player you want to let go and which you are willing to pick up.
